That End of Summer Glow

Oh, those summer evenings. All the windows and doors flung open, crickets chirping, the moon is clear and bright. A perfect opportunity for lazing about. Not me, of course. I can't stand being a couch potato. Unlike Mi-Mi and a few other people in this household who shall remain nameless here (uh-hm).
Anyhow, back to my summer night. It was a few nights ago. It was one of those magical summer evenings when the night air was balmy and the moon was bright and I wish I were out leading some fantastic fantasy life...at a party, in a Spanish villa, on the balcony, a glass in my hand and like-minded friends all around (~sigh~). But I'm not complaining, SoCal is just as beautiful on a night like this. These are the nights that speak to me and I really come alive. My favorite! How could I waste it watching another vacuous t.v. show? How can one waste life like that anyhow!? Of course, running around the house (and in the yard!) in my excitement to capture it all on camera, I was given those funny looks from family (human and feline) couch potatoes. Nevermind those that doen't understand, here's what I had the pleasure of experiencing on my summer evening...

Luna, I can never spend enough time in her presence...

The end of summer. All the best bits. Meant to be relished...
...and do you think they even remembered what they watched on t.v.???
Hope you're relishing the end of your summer, too ;)
Adios and au revoir, friends...

It's a cold and damp end to summer over here with the farmers really struggling to get harvest completed. {I'm looking forward to going to Carcassonne for some late sun in a couple of weeks!}

Thats a great last picture of the cat. He seems to be echoing how I imagine you're feeling when you wrote this!

Cheers!
