A Sad Day...

No matter what your feelings are on these two major personalities, there is no denying that they made their mark on those of our time. I grew up listening and watching both personalities as they shaped many of my memories. Today, a very, very sad day for those of us who share those memories. I'll always love Michaels earlier days with the Jackson 5, as we used to watch them every Saturday morning and the music he made in the late 70's/early 80's. Despite his troubled and strange life in the end, there is no doubt today will be a day in music, television and film history.
Rest in peace Farrah and Michael, what a sad day...

What a combination to lose in 24 hours. :( I woke up an hour ago to the news of Michael Jackson, it was one of those moments when you know that for the rest of your life you will be able to remember exactly where you were when you heard the news. So sad, but maybe he is at peace now, and can rest.

I didn't believe it! When the initial news came through I assumed like every other news flash on him that it's a hoax. This just broke my heart. I was born into a world that lived & breathed Michael Jackson. Staying up late to watch "The Jackson 5". Then came "Off the Wall" & I was just completely consumed again. I can't concern myself with a celebrity life just the impact that their work leaves on my. Michael Joseph Jackson kept me in love with every passing year & album he produced. Such an amazing talent!

And Farrah! Didn't most of us want to be her on Charlie's Angels? The hair flip & string bikinis. The sex appeal she emitted was amazing.

Both will be missed tremendously!!!!
